Hi, I’m Ben – the proud Director of Brickies Club Windsor & Maidenhead!
For the past 10 years, I’ve been delivering fun, hands-on LEGO workshops across the UK, and now I’m thrilled to bring Brickies to my hometown. My goal? To inspire the next generation of Master Builders by hosting engaging, story-driven LEGO workshops for children aged 5-11 right here in Berkshire.
Whether it’s a birthday party, after-school club, community event, or a special workshop, Brickies is all about creativity, imagination, and most importantly – FUN!
Why I Started My Brickies Franchise
Opening a Brickies Franchise in Windsor & Maidenhead is a dream come true. This area is the UK’s capital of LEGO, with LEGOLAND and LEGO HQ just down the road – the perfect place to bring LEGO lovers together!
I’ve always believed that LEGO is more than just a toy – it’s a powerful tool for creativity, communication, and teamwork. It’s amazing to see children push their limits, think outside the box, and collaborate to bring their imaginative ideas to life.
At Brickies, there’s no right or wrong way to build – only the Brickies way, where every idea is valued, celebrated, and encouraged.

What Makes Running Brickies So Special?
Running Brickies in my local area gives me the chance to create a close-knit community of LEGO enthusiasts. I love seeing familiar faces at my workshops, watching young builders grow in confidence, and bringing people together through the joy of LEGO.

Brickies workshops are built around exciting, story-driven challenges designed to get children’s ideas flowing. Every session is led by me, a LEGO fanatic with 10 years of experience, ready to share my passion, tips, and tricks with the next generation of builders.

A Little Bit About Me
When I’m not running Brickies, you’ll find me rowing or reading – and spending time with my beautiful daughter, Isla.
I’ve been rowing since I was 14, first learning at Windsor Boys’ School, and now competing for Maidenhead Rowing Club. In December 2025, I’ll be taking on my biggest challenge yet – rowing 3,000 miles unsupported across the Atlantic as part of Team Ocean Oarsmen to raise £50,000 for Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice in Maidenhead.

As for books, I love high/urban fantasy and Stephen King, but these days, you’ll often find me reading children’s classics with Isla – we’re currently enjoying The Tales of Peter Rabbit!
